    So much fun!
Easy to use and the kids loved it! We’ve been able to use it many times and have tried lots of the recipes. They turn out great every time and the kids enjoy the “experiment”

    Very fun!
Very fun! My nine, eight, and six year-old, very active nephews loved this! It kept their attention, and they had a lot of fun making ice cream. We are excited to make other recipes within the book.

    Great product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:In the summer we do food truck Fridays with our students. I saw this and thought it would be great to use as part of science and make a sweet treat. The whole class and staff enjoyed it.

    Rewarding Work!
This took alot of work, especially since ou grandson chose to make ice cream, while having the flu, lol, but it worked well as stated. I recommend using a blender to crush the ice beforehand. Great science in making ice cream or sorbet! Yummy 😋

  5. Samantha Blackshire

    Great gift
Such a cute present for a young child, easy to use, instructions are so simple, and a fun educational experience with a sweet treat – not to mention quality time with your child!

  6. Amanda

    Worth it
I bought this for my cousins three kids and that have loved it. She said it has been easy to use and most importantly easy to clean. The kids can even do it themselves.

Be honest about need for additional ingredients
This kit requires additional materials, a child might be very disappointed to realize upon opening that so many supplemental items must be purchased before play.  Promo marials and description should clearly list: rock salt (not an easy item to procure), foodstuffs including cream, milk, vanilla, lemon, etc.

If Good Eats made a kit for kids
I thought this was going to be a basic ice cream kit, but was surprised to see the extra cans that came in this pack. There’s a large can for ice cream, but also 2 smaller containers that let the kids do controlled experiments so they can see how air, fat, and stabilizers change the ice cream. My son enjoyed reading the instruction booklet which had clear instructions, graphics, and interesting facts. As an Alton Brown fan, it’s like a Good Eats kit for kids.Worth noting that this kit does NOT include any food ingredients and you will need some additional kitchen equipment like microwave safe bowls to heat some cream cheese and your own storage containers for the ice cream. We only did a few of the experiments so far, but the quality of the materials provided looks like it will be durable enough to be reused for more ice cream concoctions.
