Wonderful! Just add batteries!
These kits/projects are great. I bought them for my 11 year old grandson and he loved them. They are challenging enough to keep him busy and so cool with motors, locks, etc. His favorite is the tank that rolls fast and over small obstacles when turned on. I bought paint pens and he painted the tank and plane too. Highly recommend these. Be sure to have 2 AA batteries on hand for each project.

Great for little engineers!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was a neat find for my kids! My son loves to build things and to have the kit come with cars he can make that work was right up his alley. The only complaint is that the instructions for some were not that clear but we figured it out. Maybe if it included a how to video, or even added words to explain some steps would have been helpful

Fun projects.
My 6 yrs old love it and built all of them with minimal help . Some of the vehicles need adjustments for the motor to keep spinning. Good quality.

Many issues…but pretty cool!
The directions were a bit difficult to follow because steps were missing. The helicopter needed to be glued together because it kept falling apart. The wiring for the motors is backwards in the directions so after you complete the build you need to reverse the wires. The solar helicopter has different colored wires than the directions. It needs strong batteries to run the vehicles. My boys loved them. They are durable and pretty nicely constructed. The bottom line is that they had fun building them and fun playing with them. Adult guidance is definitely needed. 6 year old helped build.

STEM approved project!
My son loved making these mini projects. The instructions were easy enough for him to build it on his own. The educational aspects were easy to identify for him and the activity level was great. He was automatically drawn into the appearance of the box and wanted to complete the entire box of projects in one sitting!

Great vehicle kits!
These were great kits on putting together vehicles. We did them with our Girl Scout troop and our girls (ages 9-13) did great wtih them. While they were a little hard for them as they’ve never done anything like that before, it was a great test in perseverance and grit. Thanks!

hard to assemble
I gifted this to my 6 year old nephew and it was pretty impossible for him to assemble on his own. I think the age rating is for 8 years and up. It was still pretty difficult as an adult to assemble them as well. The included screws are very tiny and easy to loose. He enjoyed the cars once built but likely will not purchase again.

Great for Trail Life Hobbies elective
The Steam Kits were a huge hit with my boys during our Trail Life meeting! We used them to talk about modeling, and they fit perfectly into our lesson. The boys had a blast working with them, and they were easy to use while still being engaging. I’ll definitely be ordering them again for our next hobbies class. I’m also planning to get more kits for my son’s homeschool curriculum. Highly recommend for hands-on learning and creativity!
