Fun activity for a wide range of ages!
My 9 year old, 4 year old, and I all enjoyed this activity together! We had fun experimenting with the different stencils, as well as leaves and legos on the paper. There are a wide variety of stencils and a good number of the light-activated sheets of paper.My only complaint was my kids were a bit excited to get started and unfortunately there were no instructions provided (for instance, which side of the paper to use and suggested light exposure time). We had to figure things out on our own, which slowed our progress a bit, and took a bit of the wind out of their sails. But we figured it out and had a good time anyway! For those that want to know, you use the textured, slightly yellow side of the paper. Exposure depends on how dramatic you want the color, and how big of an area you are covering. It took maybe 30 seconds for a small stencil, but closer to 3 minutes to move the provided flashlight across the page for a couple complete passes.Just a warning that the provided UV light is BRIGHT. Younger kids will need warning and supervision when using this. I am pretty light sensitive (it is one of my migraine triggers), and I needed a break after a few minutes.Overall, a fun craft to do with the family. We will definitely be using it again!

Fun in the sun
I’m always looking for new ways to help my artsy kid get creative. I’d never heard of uv reacting paper. Sounded fun. And it is! The included stencils are great especially for my younger kid who loves animals and isn’t as dexterous as her older siblings. The paper feels nice quality and it reacts quickly so the kids get their instant gratification.We tried our hands at using nature to make art with these and it was a lot of fun. I wish more pages were included but when I looked around the price is competitive. These pages are larger size than you usually find for the uv paper. That’s helpful for the kids as well and when they make mistakes they don’t get so upset because they have room to try again. Will recommend.

Works Really Well
I was interested to try this one out because I wasn’t sure how using light to draw would work.It is a lot of fun for kids, but the nuance is they have to hold the stencils really still. If you bump or shift the stencil, it basically smears the whole thing and the light isn’t forgiving. I do wish they provided more paper, since mistakes happen frequently, but for the price I can’t complain much.The variety is great, from animals to fish, I loved all of them. I will also add that the stencil is thick enough not to let the light through the areas that are blocked off, making it work well.

Starlight Light Activated Paper Art
So much fun and easy to use. Comes with 20 sheets of UV activated paper, landscape and animal stencils, UV flashlight with charging cord. I did a landscape stencil then added an animal on it. Very easy! You can see the paper turning blue under the stencil. The longer you the UV light on the paper the darker the blue is. My grandkids will love this! I do wish it came with more paper. Overall a fun art set with no mess! I can see my grandkids using all the stencils as well as doing handprints and leaf prints and so much more!

Fun kit, works really well
This is a fun art kit. My five year old daughter loved seeing the images appear on the light activated paper. The kit comes with everything you need, including a uv flashlight.The stencils are a good size and there are lots of images to choose from. It was fun to play around with exposure time and to see how that changed the look.It’s packaged well and makes sure the paper stays covered so it’s not exposed to light before you’re ready to use it.This is a really fun kit.
