There was a lot of items for a lot of fun. Daughter learned so much and all the items were high quality, worked amazingly, and was easy to understand. Not too large so easy to put away when done.

Great Gift Idea
Grandson loved this set! He’s our aspiring scientist, so I got this for him for his recent birthday. There are a lot of projects to keep him busy and expand his knowledge. It’s educational, but still fun and keeps him engaged in the present moment instead of being on video games and internet all day. A little pricy but still a great value for all that it comes with and hours of learning and experimenting. Gotta love quality National Geographic products for kids!

Multiple days of fun!!
This kit is fantastic! It kept my easily distracted, 8 year old son busy and interested over multiple days. Like coming home from school and instead of wanting the iPad, he was very excited to do experiments instead. There is a big variety of experiments. The instructions are easy to follow, but it was definitely a success working with a parent. Of all the National Geographic science/art sets that I’ve bought, this one is the very best!

My 10 year old daughter loved erupting the volcano and growing glow-in-the-dark crystals—it felt like watching her discover a whole new world.The instructions are easy to follow, the materials are kid-safe, and the activities are designed to build confidence and spark imagination. I love that it includes real rocks, minerals, and fossils, adding a hands-on learning element that feels special and authentic.Great for rainy days, school projects, or just plain fun. Highly recommend for kids who are curious about how things work or who just love a little bit of magic in their life.My daughter needs my help and supervision to complete the experiments. There were a few experiments that didn’t work out as planned and an ingredient bag was missing from the box when we received it. Many of the experiments are quite time consuming and have a long waiting period to see results.

Great for a kids gift
I buy one of these every year as a birthday gift for my nephew. He absolutely loves them. I have fun helping him put them together and do the experiments. They are kid friendly and educational. I definitely recommend.

Perfect for a Little Scientist!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this for my nephew, a budding chemist! He has had so much fun with his experiments! We made the crystal tree together and put celery in food dye to observe capillary motion. It was so fun! My sister appreciates that it came with everything they need to do the experiments (minus the celery, which must be alive). I highly recommend this to the little scientist in your family.

Great kit for young children. Currently using it with a 6 year old and it’s definitely quite stimulating. A lot of different textures, colours and activities which individually don’t take long to complete.
