    Family fun
I was looking for a new family game to shake up our regular game nights, and “Beat the Parents” was a perfect choice. The “kids vs. parents” concept is a simple but brilliant idea that gets everyone excited and a little bit competitive. What We Loved (The Pros):Tailored Questions: The fact that the questions are specifically designed for each team is what makes this game work so well. It’s not a generic trivia game; the kids’ questions are about video games, cartoons, and pop culture, while the parents’ questions are about things they would know. It makes the game fair and fun for everyone.Wager System Adds an Extra Kick: The best part of the game is the wager board. We had a blast coming up with silly dares and challenges for the losing team (e.g., “The losers have to do the dishes for a week!” or “The losers have to make breakfast in the morning!”). It really raises the stakes and adds a lot of laughter.Easy to Learn: The rules are very straightforward. We were able to start playing just a few minutes after opening the box. This is great for family game nights, as you don’t want to spend an hour just reading instructions. What Could Be Improved (The Cons):A Few Repetitive Questions: After playing a few times, we’ve started to see some questions repeat. It would be great if there were expansion packs or a larger variety of cards to keep the game fresh over time. Some Challenges Can Be Vague: A few of the “challenge” cards were a little confusing or didn’t have clear rules, which led to a bit of friendly debate. But honestly, that’s half the fun of a family game!Overall:”Beat the Parents” has become an instant hit in our household. It’s a fantastic way to get everyone off their screens and into a fun, interactive activity. It brings out the competitive spirit in both kids and adults, and the wagers make the whole experience hilarious and memorable. If you’re looking for a game that’s perfect for family game night, this is a great one to add to your collection.

My kids are using this to manipulate me and my wife
I got this on a whim cuz it looked fun and the price point was generous. I thought it was a good purchase, until about a month after it arrived. Within that time, my wife and our four kids would play this two, three times a week. It was a lot of fun. You can play it right out of the box with about 30 seconds of skimming the rules. Our youngest is 8 and she had no problem playing it. Our oldest is 17, and he had fun, too – so it scales really well by age. Anyway. A week ago, one of the kids asked us to play, and convinces us to make a wager related to something he wanted to purchase. Ok. A few days go by, and then his little sister asks to play, and convinces us to wager something she wanted to purchase. Yesterday, I caught three of them whispering frantically as they colluded for their next wager for the third sibling. I am at once proud and horrified.

    Bluey game!
Wonderful gift for 4-8 year old. Perfect for kids who love Bluey–familiar games and easy to learn. Better than the individual games seen (like keepy-uppy). Combines a bunch of episodes. VERY hands on–all members will need to be ready for action! Great fun for the family!

  4. Valencia

    Easy fun
Gifted as a present and got rave reviews! The parent mentioned it kept the kids entertained for a while so it’s a win!

family bonding, challenging . laughter and love.
This is a wonderful present to give someone. It is a great family game. It is a game both the children and the parents like. It brings them together as a family. The questions are challenging for both. Good present for birthdays or Christmas. I bought it for my family and they told me how much they enjoyed it.

    Would Buy Again
Bought several of these for the church Christmas giveaway. Apparently a VERY popular toy. Have not heard any complaints.

    Good
Good quality good design good difficulty level good fun

  8. Jessie

    Half Disney related only
The challenges in this game weren’t super fun and not Disney related. However the drawing cards were fun! Better off getting a Disney Pictionary

  9. Andrea Hutcheson

One of our family’s favorite games to play. Lots of variety for trivia and challenges. Kids were 6, 9 & 11 when we purchased it, and it still gets played 3 years later.

Great concept. But it’s all American knowledge questions. My kids had no idea. They didn’t specify this in the listing. Tried to find a set of Australian question cards to replace but couldn’t.

Good game, my kids are 6 and it was difficult for them to complete the challenges but they still won! The game was fun to play with a lot of different components and challenges so it did not feel repetitive. I recommend.

    Perfect

Super fun to play with the kidos. Questions where a little harder then expected but we all got to learn some new things
