Fast, Silly, and Perfect for Kids with Lots of Energy!
Exploding Kittens: Hurry Up Chicken Butt is a hilarious, fast-paced card game that’s an instant hit with kids (and adults who don’t mind getting a little silly). The rules are super easy to learn, and the quick two-minute rounds make it perfect for short attention spans or between bigger games on family night. It’s got that goofy humor you’d expect from Exploding Kittens—lots of laughing, shouting, and racing to pass the cards before time runs out. The “hot potato” style play keeps everyone moving and engaged. The quality is perfect for gentle to rough play.If you’re looking for a game that combines speed, laughter, and a little bit of chaos, this one’s a winner. Great for ages 4 and up, and perfect to bring to parties or family gatherings.

    Very excellent!
This game is a lot of fun.I’ve bought it a few times, and it’s always a hit.One thing to note is that it does need a few or more people to have a good game, and if the kids are at sll on the younger side, they’ll need an adult or older kid to do the reading and even more so the guiding for each new card activity. That’s not a bad thing, it’s a good habit for adults to be in- playing with and interacting in the fun (hopefully with their phone nowhere in sight), but if it’s bought in hopes that the kids will be able to manage it on their own, ehh, only if they can read well, follow instructions, and can manage a structured, fast-paced game like this. There’s a LOT of movement in the game, which is awesome, and it’s guaranteed that there will be a lot of laughter. There are really funny cards like, “Give everyone in the game a new name” and that is just hilarious no matter what you say. It’s great. If you have a child who is averse to losing, lol, I’d suggest playing a few rounds first, just passing the clucking chicken around in the circle (like a game of hot potato) until it squawks, which means the person holding it is out of the game. That is what I did a few times because one of the kids was a child who did NOT like to lose (I’m looking at you, parents who NEVER let their kids lose, and now they miss out on learning how to do it gracefully). We would be having fun getting into the game, and if the chicken squawked while it was still her turn (so she was out of the game) she would cry and run off, meaning we couldn’t continue because there was only three of us. Rude. It’s also helpful to do that first in case they get freaked out by the squawking/buzzer. There’s layers to the game, and with little kids it’s sometimes helpful to introduce it this way to get them used to the basic foundation of the game which is essentially hot potato. Then you can add in the cards snd actions to be taken each turn snd it seems to be less confusing snd chaotic thst wsy. Otherwise, if little ones get too overwhelmed and confused they’ll lose confidence and not want to play, generally speaking, and I did experience that with this game a few times… which is why I started doing it it with simply passing the chicken around first. After that there was never an issue with overwhelm or confusion.✨My ultimate tip:Put a piece of tape to cover over the speaker on the bottom to your liking… THE CHICKEN IS LOUD. A piece of electrical tape would probably work best, but at the time when the game was mine, I used scotch tape, and I just kept adding layers until it was quiet enough. That’s helpful too bc some little kids do get scared by the sound (and adults, lol).Have fun!!Totally a great game and I’d recommend it with complete confidence that it would be a hit. It would probably be fun as a drinking game too. I don’t really drink, but I can see it being pretty funny.

    Fun for the whole family
Wanted a game that my younger grand kids could play and this games definitely hit the mark. The game is simple and short but it was a lot of fun watching them do the activities described on the cards. The younger ones will need help reading the cards of course. A very fun family game that I have no regrets purchasing.Hopefully they come out with card booster packs.

  5. Marco Rainaldi

    Fun game for little kids.
Fantastic game. Our 6 and 4 year old love it. We love it too. A great twist to hot potato. I love how active and creative the actions are. The only reason I’m not giving this a 5 is that the timer is wonky. The final timer sound stopped working after only three rounds. Changing the batteries seemed to fix it for a bit, but then it stopped working again. Maybe the manufacturer will read this and send out a new timer.

This game is so cute, fun and funny! I got it for my youngest, but the older kids also had a blast playing it. It is engaging, easy enough for kids to play on their own and had all of us laughing so hard.
