    TRUST THE PROCESS
This was very messy, but very fun. My daughter was SO excited to pop the balloon the next day. I gave it 24 hours of drying time to make sure it wouldnt fall apart. It looked a total mess, glue was everywhere but it was fun and it was silly and at the end of it, it was beautiful. Only suggestion i would make is to not put the entire roll of thread in the glue. It didnt seep all the way through. Keep some extra elmers glue on hand just in case.

Fun and Creative Kit for All Ages!
I bought this 3D string art star lantern kit for a weekend craft project, and it turned out to be such a fun experience! The kit comes with everything you need, plenty of string, a sturdy inflatable balloon form, and easy-to-follow instructions. I was a bit worried that it would be difficult to get the star shape just right, but the guide was super helpful, and the results were surprisingly professional looking! The process is pretty straightforward. You dip the string in glue, wrap it around the balloon form, and let it dry. After popping the balloon, you’re left with this beautiful, airy star lantern that looks stunning when you add lights. It’s both a relaxing and rewarding project that works for kids and adults alike. The finished product is lightweight yet holds its shape well. I hung mine up with the string lights, and it adds a magical, cozy touch to my space. Overall, it’s a great gift idea or activity for anyone who loves DIY crafts!

    Great memories but very messy
We have not finished ours yet…but as other reviewers mentioned the glue is very thick. It’s almost glue slime and it’s impossible to saturate all the yarn without unspooling it, which the directions say not to do. We had to keep stopping and reapplying. The gloves are two big for kids so there was lots of stopping there too. In the end it looks like a star, but I questioned if there is enough glue to properly harden

Not a project for kids but the night light is cute
This is more of a project for an adult only. It is a great night light though. The first few nights it shines very bright but after a couple days batteries start to drain and lights become dimmer.

Not sure it’s all it’s cracked up to be.
My 9 year old daughter and I attempted this activity and it wasn’t easy! She couldn’t do it alone, the glue got everywhere! Couldnt keep the gloves on because the glue was pulling and sticking to everything. We even ran out of glue goo and had to make due with using whatever residue was left but it wasn’t enough to harden the yarn so the star shape collapsed on itself. We still finished and hung it up, but it’s not how it should be. Slightly disappointed.

    Cute.
Purchased as a gift for a student who lost her home to a fire. She loved it.

Found this kit very messy and hard to do. The balloons would not stay blown up. The glue is so thick and sticky it was impossible to pull the yarn through. We ended up just putting glue on our hands and layered the glue over the yarn. Doing a star shape was not possible with the balloon deflation. Bought this for my 8 year old twins and would not recommend for any age. Clean up was very time consuming s as well.

I am an “avid crafter” and I had a VERY hard time tackling this craft not only WITH my 7 yr daughter – but also on my own.Very messy. String slips around each time you string it over, making the star lose its shape. Super frustrating.Would not recommend…unless you’re mache-string-proffessional!

  11. Deborah McDonald –

This was gifted to my granddaughter for her birthday. the balloon does not come off the strings making this item unusable

  12. Mary smith –

Ridiculous, they gave us two inflatable stars, one was already punctured the other you could not insert the straw !!! money down the drain.

  13. Sanjay Rana –

The yarn got all tangled and the whole thing was ruined
