Scissors cut well. A little small and very lightweight. Should work well for small kids. OK quality but would prefer them to be a little sturdier.

I bought these to add to an art kit for 2-4 Samaritan Christmas boxes though I think they could also be used in 5-9 boxes. They are a good size for tiny hands, and the larger hole for extra fingers make them easier to cut with using the pressure of all fingers instead of just two fingers used in scissors with two small holes. I buy them in different sizes for different age groups. The bright colors certainly make them attractive to these age groups.
