Great gift on hand!
I got this for a one off birthday party and wish I had another already – easy item to keep in the closet as birthday parties arise. Lovely, fun, not too big but still good for little fingers – highly recommend!

Fun idea but the design is flawed
Fun toy, the playdoh is colorful, and the machine is durable but the design is a little flawed. No matter what, playdoh gets stuck in the press and eventually clogs the machine. We have to use other tools to pry out the playdoh. Still fun and my kids really enjoy it!

My toddler loves this playdough ice cream set! The colors are so bright, and the swirl effect makes it extra fun. She spends so much time “making ice cream” for everyone. The tools are sturdy, easy to use, and perfect for little hands. It’s been a huge hit for pretend play and keeps her entertained for a long time!

Toddler friendly
Easy to set up and kid friendly. My toddler only really needed help pushing down the lever and that’s only when it was too much play dough. I do wish it came with bigger containers of play dough.

SIMPLY DOESN’T WORK.
Simply doesn’t work. I’m a mechanically minded engineer. Just had a great time playing with Play-Doh with my 4 1/2 year old grandson, UNTIL MY WIFE BROUGHT THIS THING OUT. I assembled it, we loaded it up and … FAIL. We used brand new fresh Play-Doh so it wasn’t too hard, but the main plunger extruded about 1/2 of it or less, and took way too much pressure – enough so that that stopped the cone spinning mechanism. Worse, the rest flowed past the plunger and up the sides because the plunger is such a terrible fit inside the tube. My grandson barely had the strength to push the lever down enough to get ANY “ice cream”. And if you lift the lever high enough to bring the plunger up to where you can clean, the lever falls off and you have to reassemble it. Then there’s the “star dispenser” – it works but again, a lot of material is squeezed to the wrong side of the plunger so you have to take it apart and try again. Then, it leaves excess play-doh down at the bottom of its tube. If this is left to harden there it will never work again, but it is very hard to clean out. This COULD be a really cool toy if it was better engineered but as is it is truly a worthless piece of junk and I would not recommend it to anyone.
