Great purchase especially for the money!
Good quality. I’ve built many of the big brand and many off brand. This set is on par with them. Love the color and the design. Works well. I had to make two minor changes on the mouth so it closed better (turning one piece 90 degrees on both sides of the mouth). Very enjoyable build. Easy to follow instructions and no missing pieces. Awesome value! Worth the purchase.

This set is really nice. I got it for my son for his 12th birthday and he has been able to assemble without any help. I haven’t had the best luck with off brand Lego sets prior to this one, but it is very comparable to Lego. The instructions were very clear and descriptive.

Poor construction quality
The reviews led me to buy this over an actual Lego product so I thought I would leave mine here. The pieces themselves are pretty cool and higher quality than other off brands HOWEVER, The construction quality is very poor to the point that my son breezed through the first several steps but by the time the final stages came up the pieces would fall apart trying to piece it together so we have needed to superglue everything in order for it to stay in one piece which has never been an issue for the actual Lego brand. So as much as I hate paying the astronomical sum that legos are these days, it is worth the pain and frustration of trying to piece this crumbling mess together.

Review: INSOON 1,139pcs Undersea creature #HG1055Summary: EXCELLENT instructions, great variety of pieces, NO use of stickers, enjoyable build experience.There are a LOT of pieces (1,139 exactly) but thanks to organized packaging, building this set is not overwhelming. The pieces are all packaged in numbered bags which correspond to sections in the instructions book.There are no printed pieces. There is also no stickers to deal with. This set does use some Technic pieces for the gears and for the stand to hold up the sea creature.INSTRUCTIONS: The instructions can make or break a set. In this case, the instruction book is PERFECT. Full color pages with very clear instructions. Instructions aren’t rushed and only a few steps are given in each step not to overwhelm you. What I really like about the book is the use of highlights. The new pieces you are putting on the build are highlighted while the pieces not involved are greyed out, making it VERY CLEAR what is new and where the new pieces go. The book also uses arrows to show where to place pieces which makes things even clearer (see examples in pics1-3).QUALITY: The pieces all fit together perfectly, just like the name brand. The only piece which felt less than amazing is the shark. It isn’t a solid building brick but 2 pieces semi connected into a hollow shark (pics4-5). Fortunately, this is the only piece that is less than stellar.FINAL THOUGHTS: This set will take a few HOURS to assemble.There is no repetitive steps so building is not tedious and the instructions are long but not hard. This set will require a lot of time. The end will reward you with a beautiful set once completed that looks great thanks too the high amount of detail and the light brick. I recommend this set.

Ich musste zu meiner Enttäuschung feststellen, daß die größte bekannte Markenfirma tatsächlich ernsthafte Konkurrenz bekommen hat. Ich bin Fischfan und musste diesen Anglerfisch haben. Sehr schön gemacht und ausgeklügelt. Mit Beleuchtung. Einfach am Baustein drehen und an. 😳 (so einfach…) 😉 Man kann jetzt natürlich noch suchen und wird fündig werden: z.b. passen an der ein oder anderen Stelle die Teile noch nicht so 100%ig, oder wenn man nach Fertigstellung etwas daran macht (z.b.Licht an/aus), hat man schon das ein oder andere Teil gleich mit in Bewegung gesetzt… aber soetwas ist mir auch bei der anderen bekannten Marke passiert. Ich hatte sehr viel Freude beim Zusammenbau und habe jetzt sehr viel Freude beim Anblick im “Aquarium” (Schaukasten 😉). Mit Kindern würde ich es auf jeden Fall gemeinsam machen, denn es ist doch relativ komplex und sie sollen schließlich ihre Freude daran behalten! Lieferung schnell und tadellos. Alles in allem aus meiner Sicht eine empfehlenswerte Sache. Steine sind mit anderen Marken kompatibel, passen gut.
