This is a Great Sketchbook, Very High-Quality Paper!
Got this for my son. He recently got a set of Posco acrylic markers, and they don’t work great on regular, low-quality paper (ie Dollar Tree coloring books). The paper in this sketchbook is THICK, almost like an index card. Not only does it stand up to acrylics, but it does so well enough that you can draw on both sides of the paper.This paper holds up well enough to frame, and I have done so with several of my son’s drawings. We have also made some paper dolls of his favorite Roblox characters.

High-Quality Sketchbook for Watercolor Anywhere

Nice thick paper, bound well with good perforration, rich black color paper, perfect with gel pens! I cant say anything bad about it. I’d recommend to anyone who likes sketching or Journaling on dark paper. One of the best I’ve bought over the years, for sure.

Good sketch book
Good quality paper that is substantial weight. It does absorb pencil so erasing takes a little effort. It’s worth the effort to end up with a solid piece when finished with a project or sketch. Perhaps it was a little pricey, but for my money it was worth the price.

The paper quality is top-notch, perfect for all my sketching and drawing needs. Whether you are using pencils, pens, or markers with moderation, the pages hold up great without any bleed-through. The ring binder design is effective; it makes flipping through pages super easy, and you can remove them whenever you want. Plus, the book lays flat while you draw, which is super convenient. The cover is a durable yet it is made out of the same type of paper, so caution with laying any beverages on top of it. Overall, this drawing book has become a great art projects sketchbook.

Great for ONLY markers; Microns will smear *read review*
Pro:I had purchased this bigger marker pad because of many reviews stating “no pilling” (Pilling = when your marker is drawing down too many layers where the paper itself will start to ball up with the marker strokes and it starts to denigrate). I can attest: the book does NOT PILL!!! Which is absolutely amazing for someone like myself who is constantly critiquing my own work and changing up colors. Currently, using an alcohol-based marker which glides smooth and blends phenomenally. I tested it out with about 15 layers of colors and even a little bit of pressure. Great for a heavy hand!!!Con:Now I can’t really take away a star for this; when drawing with a light pencil, I will use a detailing pen / micron of sorts. Let that sit and dry, then start to fill in with the markers and blend. However, because of how SMOOTH the paper is, once my drawing is outlined it did start to bleed a little bit of the borders of the outline. I did experiment and wait 24 hours to test if maybe it needed more time to dry. It still was bleeding around / on the outline. If you take your absolute time you can get away with it – maybe even using a WHITE detailing marker to clean up the lines + retouching up with whatever marker you wanna use.*** Also, if you’re using a regular pencil, it does take a little bit of time to erase it. Doesn’t erase super easy.It seems that this pad specifically is great for markers, and markers only as the entire medium. Orrrr it could just be user error on my part, lol. But that’s the fun in making art!!!Either way, definitely will purchase again.

Better than typical student-grade watercolor pads
I use it as a watercolor diary for color comparisons. I’ve been swatching out all my paints and I find the paint lays well onto the paper; though it’s wood pulp, not cotton, the paper is good quality. The pages are more like 12″ x 9.75″ (not 10″) but I can set up for 12 or 15 squares per page divided by artist’s tape. I only use one side of the paper.The description says cold pressed but I find it a bit smoother than typical cold press. It’s very pleasant to write on with Sakura markers. The spiral binding is sturdy and doesn’t snag, and the boards for the covers are quite solid and durable.
