Such A Cool STEM Toy!
This Air Toobz Bundle turned out to be an awesome addition to our playroom. I was honestly hoping for something that would engage my 7-year-old, but to my surprise- my 13-year-old loves it just as much! This toy immediately got their attention. Watching both of my kids work together was the best part; they spent a full hour experimenting with different tube configurations to master the airflow- their goal was to get a foam ball to shoot out of one tube and land perfectly back into the funnel of another. As a parent, I absolutely love that this is an educational toy that gets them actively thinking about air pressure and problem-solving. We had previously played with something similar at a children’s museum, so having our own “mini-version” at home has been incredibly cool.Though it’s a splurge at $249.95, the Air Toobz bundle is definitely the version to get. The included Expansion Pack instantly doubled their building options, preventing any immediate limits to their creativity. Beyond the tubes, I really appreciate the practical features designed for family use. The battery life is great, offering up to three hours of play on a single charge, and safety features like the grate over the fan and the auto shut-off give me peace of mind. Plus, the little details matter: the adorable Toobzters (the fluffy ball animals) are a fun bonus, and the sturdy storage bag is perfectly sized to fit the entire set, making cleanup and storage easy.It took some trial and error to get the hang of how many balls could be sent through at once, and we had quite a few clogged tubes in the beginning. The kids quickly figured out how to arrange the tubes to accomplish what they were trying to do; get the balls to shoot up at the ceiling, hover over a tube, transfer from one tube to another, shoot across the kitchen floor so our cats could chase them, etc. My husband and I even got into designing and arranging them into different structures with the kids, and had so many laughs. The fan isn’t too loud or annoying, and I love how it’s cordless and can be brought outside to play on our patio.Overall, I am completely thrilled with the Air Toobz Bundle. It’s an engaging, open-ended toy that has successfully captured the attention of both our younger child and teenager, encouraging them to build, collaborate, and learn. If you’re looking for an innovative STEM toy that makes a perfect birthday or Christmas gift and gets kids thinking, experimenting, and having a blast, I highly recommend this set!

Air Toobz, Preschool-tested and Preschool Teacher-Approved!
So this definitely caught my interest because I am a Preschool Teacher, and I am always looking for high quality, fun learning/STEM activities for my students. I am so happy I found these!So what I love is that this comes with a lot of different tubes and tunnels that will definitely work well for both of our Buildings and/or Tubes and Tunnels Studies, so students can practice making predictions , study cause and effect, and can learn more complex problem-solving skills.What you get is a nice starter set with lots of colored balls, three character balls, tons of sturdy, durable, plastic tubes (straight, curves, connectors, and the ever-essential easy-to-charge “air” machine that you just put the balls in and they go through the tubes. It also comes with a handy case to store everything in, which I just love, because it keeps everything together nice and organized, and ready to use when you need it.We are currently using these to encourage writing, as my students have been recording data in their science journals. (They draw and design their configurations, write about what they think their tubes will do, and then I give them the opportunity to construct and build them, so they can compare and study if that is actually what happens when they do their practice runs.) If the design goes the way they plan, they write about why they think it worked, and write about the changes they might want to make to get different outcome. If it doesn’t work, they write about why and how their design didn’t work the way they planned and what changes they could make to get it to work the way they want it to.After they do this activity a few times, we are extending on the activity, by having the students plan a way to get the balls to go directly into a large box.We will be talking about gravity, force too, so lots to teach with these super fun Air Toobz!I highly recommend these to promote science, discovery, and exploration! Fun toy, but expensive.
I never thought I’d see a toy that’s basically modeled after one of those old bank air canister systems, but this is surprisingly fun. Everything has a good build quality, and it’s easy to assemble. Connections are pretty secure and sturdy. If you have enough pieces you can really come up with some fun designs. Air flow from the blower is good and the little balls go zooming through the system when you put them in.My only real complaint is the price. I mean, $250 for basically an air blower, some plastic pipes & connectors, and some foam balls doesn’t exactly scream ‘great value’. It’s fun, sure, and the build quality good, but I personally don’t think it’s $250 worth of fun.
